Light And Stiff Structural Part Of Machine Tool With Linear Motors
Original language description
Requirements on productivity of machine tools increase. Therefore technologies of high speed cutting - HSC are applied increasingly. Machine tools for HSC have to enable in all axis high feed rates and high accelerations. Therefore masses of moving partsof machine tools have to decrease and power of feed drives have to increase. The high stiffness of basic machine frames have to be preserved at simultaneous decrease of moving masses. This paper presents some possibilities how to design light and stiffcarrying parts of machine tools. A welded steel structure of the cross table and applied computational methods are presented in this paper. Results of computational and measuring data are compared.
