Design of the Low Turbulence Wind Tunnel for Investigation of Three Dimensional Unsteady Flow
Original language description
To investigate the unsteady three-dimensional flow within cylindrical curved Channels a new special low turbulence wind tunnel has been designed and manufactured. The wind tunnel was designed to provide exact aerodynamic experiments by changing and adjusting the flow variables at the inlet section of measured channels. The purpose of the investigation is to clarify the effect of inlet flow structure (average profile of the flow field) and its turbulence parameters on the value of energy loss, caused bysecondary flow containing the pair of vortex tubes flowing out from the curved channel.
