    Study of Pumping Capacity of Pitched Blade Impellers

  • Original language description

    Experimental study was made of the pumping capacity of a pitched blade impeller in agitated low viscous liquid under turbulent regime of flow in a cylindrical fully baffled vessel. Laser Doppler anemometry was used for measurement of the profile of the axial component of the mean velocity in the impeller discharge flow. Two types of the vessel bottom - dished and flat ones were used under different impeller off-bottom clearances
