Use of Optical Methods Combination in Compressible Flow

  • Original language description

Paper delad with advantages of the proposed combination of PIV and schlieren methods for mearusement of high speed flows. A way of mproving the quality of measuement bymeans of the PIV method by comparing the PIV vector field with the schlieren photograps is proposed. Moreover, thepossibility of thePIV software pack Flowmap utilization for the determination of the shock-wave motion is suggested.
