Original language description
The article deals with an analysis of the experimentally determined time series of the local values of the tangential forces affecting a radial baffle in the pilot plant fully baffled stirred system with pitched blade or standard Rushton turbine impellers. Results of the analysis cover detection of the low frequency component of the local tangential force (independent of the position along the baffle but dependent on the impeller Reynolds number) corresponding to the occurence of the flow macro-instabilities in investigated systems.
