Original language description
The article deals with description of experimentally determined distribution of the tangential forces affecting radial baffles in the pilot plant fully baffled cylindrical system under turbulent regime of flow of agitated liquid. The local values of tangential forces affecting a baffle are measured by means of the trailing target and results of experiments are evaluated by means of the proper orthogonal decomposition technique. Results are expressed in the form of dimensionless quantities in dependenceon location along height of the baffle and in dependence on impeller Reynolds number.
