The Study of the Surface Properties of Biomaterials
Original language description
The aim of this work is a research in biomaterial engineering field, which is focused on composite materials with different surface modification in combination of deposition of other attractive surface layers suitable for biomedical applications i.g. DLC. The study give us information about topography (surface roughness, 3D projection of the surface from SEM), chemical state (surface energy, wettability) and technological properties (friction, hardness). The experimental part would concern with biocompatibility in coherence of osteoblast cells culture in vitro at prepared surfaces. The optimum is to determine surface parameters preferred by osteoblast cells represented by their proliferation, growth and differentiation in the highest rate.
