    This work deals the stability of flow. The Rayleigh and Fjörtoft stability criteria of velocity profiles are derived here. These derived criteria and thermodynamic criterion of stability for thermo-viscous fluid are compared. Some shapes of stable and unstable velocity profiles are shown here.
