Three Tank Cascade Improvement for Model-free Autotuning Testing
Original language description
An existing laboratory set-up representing a physical model of three tank cascade has been proposed as a tool for testing a newly developed model-free autotuning method. This selection was influenced by following facts: a) the laboratory model was readyfor computer control, b) simultaneously, computer simulation can be effectively utilized because mathematical description of the cascade is based on quite exactly valid relations, c) the set-up provides us with necessary degree of nonlinearity and changeable properties. Presented improvement of the laboratory set-up instrumentation was unavoidable because results obtained from the first experimental identification did not correspond to the results gained from simulation. Used data have been evidently imprecise because available sensors and conditions for process settling were not sufficient.
