I&C of a Small-Scale Biomass Fired Boiler Set-Up
Original language description
In the Department of Fluid Dynamics and Power Engineering, a large research project is solved as a part of general EU effort in searching alternative more ecological energy resources. Within the project, combustion process investigations in pilot biomassfired boilers are carried out. Necessary control system development solves a research group from the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering represented by authors of the paper. Reported activities are focused on a newly developed coolingcircuit and replacement of the control automat delivered with small-scale biomass fired boilers by producers with a mobile control station.
