    The efficient simulation of multibody systems that include the contact being modelled by springs and dampers instead of kinematical constraints is still a difficult problem. The contact can be modelled by kinematical constraints which not always describethe contact properties realistically. Another approach is possible by replacing the constraint by springs and dampers. However, then the problem insists in the introduction of higher frequencies into the model that are not originally included in the model. The higher frequencies increase the integration time. The presented paper deals with the description of numerical integration algorithm that enables the modelling of contact by springs and dampers and that does not suffer from the presence of higherfrequencies increasing the simulation time.
