Original language description
This paper presents the investigation of active suspension control with the obejctive to stabilize the lateral vehicle motion in similar way like ESP does. This effect can be used for the different distribution of vertical suspension forces in such a waythat resulting lateral and longitudinal forces create the required correction torque for vehicle lateral dynamics stabilization. The amount of the generated stabilization torque was measured and compared to a passive vehicle using the so-called B method, which is based on the evaluation of the vehicle steadystate cornering. Proposed stabilisation control algorithm was verified on dynamic avoidance manoeuvres.
