Current vehicles are equipped with many electronic control devices assisting driver in daily and emergency situations that usually operate independently. Their coordination can bring synergistic effects such as between the lateral dynamic stability control like ESP and the limited-active nonlinear suspension control. The lateral stabilization of vehicle, that uses the braking forces in ESP system, can be supported by the different setting of suspension forces due to the freedom of distribution of vertical force among four wheels. The novelty is the quantitative evaluation of such full synergy between lateral dynamic stability and suspension control for different manoeuvres and/or emergency situations.
