Simulation And Experimental Testing Of Machine Tool Active Feed Drive
Original language description
Dynamic behaviour of a common machine tool design with fixed-mounted linear feed drives is characterized by disturbances caused by motion axes operation. It excites vibration which deteriorates machined surface quality and machining productivity as well. Those aspects represent important factors when evaluating the machine tool quality. The paper shows simulation results of the active vibroisolation method using a mathematical model of a test bed and a real machine tool. Experimental investigation of the method on a real testing bed has been performed as well.
