Original language description
This paper should approach a process of laser scanning, as a data source for preparation of free form parts machining. It contains general description of measuring method, description of scanned data processing before saving in internal format. Moreoverit deals with further data processing to the format, which is possible to use by current CAD/CAM systems. The paper deals especially with replacing of point clouds by smooth (NURBS) curves and surfaces, repairing of defects in scanned data and also modification of the data with regard to manufacturing design
