Online Evaluation of Frequency Indicators in Control Loops with Nonlinearities
Original language description
The autotuning method based on evaluation of control quality frequency indicators is a newly developed tuning method for PID controllers that does not require any model of the controlled plant. It allows obtaining the optimal controller setting without interrupting the control process. It makes use of open loop frequency indicators which are obtained from on-line responses measured in the closed control loop. Because the aim of frequency response evaluation is not to create a model, the procedure can beused for controller tuning in the control circuits whose function is influenced by nonlinearities.
