Huxley vs. Hill Type Muscle Model: A Comparison Study Based on Muscle Forces Determination
Original language description
The aim of this study was to compare two, in biomechanics widely implemented, muscle models and highlight their advantages that results in different field of application of each model. Huxley's and Hill's muscle models were used for determination of muscle forces of two antagonistic muscles of the lower extremity (m. gluteus maximus inferior, m. iliacus) during pedalling.
