    Description of Knock Onset in a Turbocharged Gas Engine

  • Original language description

    Knock is an abnormal combustion process occurring in SI engines. The reliable description of engine knock remains a challenge. Based on measured in-cylinder pressure, the techniques of knock onset determination are introduced. Simulation of knock phenomena is mentioned. The findings regarding knock intensity are discussed. The results from model and experiment are compared.
