    The study deals with experimental investigation of the velocity field in the impeller discharge stream (LDA technique) for four various axial high speed impellers. Experimental results are expressed by means of the main dimensionless flow characteristicsof investigated impellers: the flow rate criterion, the total flow rate criterion and the impeller energetic efficiency.
