    The paper deals with a solution of the forward kinematics problem of the hexapod in 3R3R configuration using the method of structural approximation. Severeal approaches to improve the convergence and decrease the computational compaxity are presented - achoise of the most suitable structural approximation, a concept of relaxed iteration and an optimization of computational process. The global effect of these improvements is shown both on the number of iterations and computational time. Also the comparison with traditional Newton iterative method is shown.
