Original language description
The paper deals with the concept of active vibration suppression of the composite beam using a low number of centralized actuators. Usually a lot of piezoelectrics patches and fibres are used for the active vibration suppression of the composite structures. The processing starts from the optimization of the sensor and actuator positioning taking into account special form of actuation. The control law synthesis is realized by LQR strategy. The development is applied to concrete composite beam, which willbe used for the practical control implementation.
