    This paper deals with the influence of the sound-absorbing materials to noise inside the regional unit cab. The mathematical model of the regional unit was built-up on the basis on Statistical Energy Analysis for this purpose. Dominant paths of the energy flow were discovered and various additional layers which reduce noise inside the regional unit cab were proposed. The influence of the proposed layers to noise inside the cab was investigated.
