The Increasing of Tooth Flank Resistance of Gears by Modification and Non-standard Methods.
Original language description
This article describes the research of experimental verification of methods for non-standard increasing operational life depending on tooth flank damage (pitting) of case-hardened gears, the complex calculation method and the results of optimization gears with help of finite element method (FEM). The final optimal shape is achieved by longitudinal, transversal and angular modifications. Impact of changes in location and shape of individual parts of gearbox are included in this method. Better gear-mesh is achieved by modification at more uniform load distribution through a width of tooth. Furthermore describes developed experimental stand and these tested methods of surfacing: Ion Beam Assisted Deposition (IBAD), TiN and CrN layers. Results of these applications are tested similarly as described above using a stand build at FME CTU.
