    The chamber is a flanged stainless steel tube (L=600mm) hosting a pair of 50 kHz capacitative ultrasonic transducers together with pressure and temperature sensors. The chamber is designed to allow simultaneous on-line analysis and flowmetry - using sound pulses sent parallel and anti-parallel to the axial gas flow direction - the entire sound path length being in the flowing gas volume. The temperature in the chamber is monitored by six NTC sensors - of resistance 10k? at 20°C - giving an average temperature measurement uncertainty of better than +- 0.1 °C. The pressure in the chamber is monitored by a transducer Keller with a precision better than +- 15mbar. The temperature field in the chamber inner volume is maintained by the tempering jacket thatis connected to the external ultra-thermostat.
