TestBedControl - Software for Engine Test Bed Control
Original language description
TestBedControl is software for control and monitoring of a combustion engine test bed. It uses analogue or digital signals and different communication protocols (Modbus, Active X, COM, OPC) to communicate with individual devices of the test bed. The control of the dynamometer (e.g. setting of the required engine speed and/or required engine torque) and control of the engine acceleration pedal btw. directly engine control unit (ECU) is the main function of this program. A monitoring of other operating variables is the next task. Thanks to the sophisticated control of the dynamometer and engine the program TestBedControl offers to curry out automated tests on the test bed and to run advanced dynamic driving cycles for simulation of a real drive in vehicle e.g. standardized emission driving cycle ETC (European Transient Cycle). The Application is created in programming language LabVIEW (co. National Instruments). Thanks to this programming language it is possible to modify the application
