Original language description
The article discusses economical aspects of a micro CHP unit. This refers to a system with electric power output in range of units of kW that is designed for domestic applications. The goal is to determine the boundaries of economical efficiency of investment in such a system. Another objective is to find an optimal level of efficiency of such system for the proposed model application. A house with an annual consumption based on statistical data was chosen as the reference application. The evaluation takes into account short-term trend in energy markets made in the prices of 2007 and 2010. In this paper is presented a what-if analysis and significant effects on investment in such system.
