Numerical comparison of unsteady viscous flow in convergent channel
Original language description
This study deals with a numerical solution of a 2D flows of a compressible and incompressible viscous fluids in a convergent channel for low inlet airflow velocity. The authors present three mathematical models of viscous flow based on the Navier-Stokesequations for laminar flow. The numerical solution is implemented using the finite volume method (FVM) and the predictor-corrector MacCormack scheme with Jameson artificial viscosity using a grid of quadrilaterals cells. The numerical results, acquired from a developed program, are presented for inlet velocity u_inf=4.12m/s and Reynolds number Re=4x10^3.
