Numerical Solution of 3D Transonic Inviscid Flows - New Formulation of Upstream Boundary Conditions

  • Original language description

Authors carry out a numerical experiment with two different upstream boundary conditions for 3D transonic flows of an inviscid compressible fluid that have already been tested in the 2D case (GAMM channel). Numerical solution has been achieved by the finite volume method using the multistage Runge-Kutta method with Jameson's artificial dissipation on a structured non-orthogonal grid and was compared to others solutions received by MUSCL and WLSQR schemes.
