Original language description
This paper presents a novel FPGA based controller for high-speed permanent magnet synchronous machine. The controller is based on field oriented control algorithm and is composed from Id, Iq, flux weakening and speed controller. The motor parameters arenominal speed 25000min-1, maximal speed 42000min-1, 560V, 11A, 1,2Nm. The presented speed improvement is by a factor 40 compared to a previously available DSP implementation.
