Description of the mean velocity field in the discharge stream from a Rushton turbine impeller in a cylindrical vessel with radial baffles under turbulent regime of flow of agitated liquid. Axial profile of the radial component of the mean velocity is described iether by simplified form accor- ding to the statistical best fit aaproach, or in accordance with theoretical approach when the tur- bine impeller is considered as an axially symmetrical cylindrical jet.
