Modeling of Cycle-to-Cycle Variations in 0-d/1-d ice Tools
Original language description
The paper deals with modeling of cycle-to-cycle variations (CCV) using standard 0-D/1-D tools. Statistical analysis of experimental data is performed to obtain both probability density functions (PDF) and correlations (among selected parameters) which are then applied in 0-D/1-D tool to mimic CCV. The combustion model is based on fractal model - three parameters were selected to for CCV modeling, namely turbulence length scale, ignition delay parameter and wall-flame interaction parameter. The presentedresults deal with two operating points of AVL SCRE engine, namely stable point (low CCV) and unstable one (high CCV).
