    Manufacturing electrodes for micro EDM

  • Original language description

    This paper shows a comparison of two basic methods for preparing micro EDM electrodes. It shows the advantages and disadvantages of the solid block and the wire electrodes. The possibilities of these two methods and the capability to produce thin electrodes are discussed. In its final part parameters of the EDM process during preparing a flat electrode using a wire cutter are discussed. Results for the EDM process speed with different parametrs are shown.
