    Coating Systems Based on Epoxy Resins with Antistatic Function

    The article deals with functional coatings based on epoxy resins and its improvement of conductivity of coating (antistatic function). Functional coating systems combine decorative or protective properties with another additional quality that improves their basic functions that are connected to former use of these coating systems. One possibility of creating such systems is the use of suiTab. micro- and nanoparticles as fillers in the matrix of epoxy resins. It is essential to choose the best filler andits most suiTab. amount to meet the requirements for application and functional properties of a coating system. The article deals with the improvement of conductivity of coating systems based on epoxy resins in the framework of the project that has beenrun at Department of Manufacturing Technology, Czech Technical University in Prague.
