Damage analysis of hybrid composite cell structure
Original language description
A novel type of 3D cell structure is hybrid material created by a moulding process of sub-cells. Filament fibre winding technology combined with stamping and wrapping with using both high modulus (PITCH fibres) and high strength carbon fibers (PAN fibre)was used to manufacture a three-dimensional cell structure (3DC structure). Each building part is damaging in its own way and therefore all parts contribute to global properties differently.
