An Optimization of a Four-bar Linkage for control of trailing-edge flap
Original language description
This paper deals with an option and use of evaluation criteria for design of a trailing-edge flap four bar linkage of an ultralight aircraft. A design procedure of individual mechanism variants is described briefly first. A description of chosen evaluation criteria and a simplified procedure of flap loading prediction, which is important for mechanism evaluation in view of actuation loads on rotary actuator, are described next. Survey of some designed variants of mechanisms, evaluated parameters and mention of next works course are described at the end of this paper.
