Original language description
Article deals with the problem of tensile specimens FE simulation which are cut from C-shaped composite plates with varying thickness manufactured from C/PPS 5H satin fabric. These plates will be used as connectors between auxiliary and edge frame in aircraft construction and therefore is necessary to test them. The simulation focuses on results comparison obtained by shell and continuum shell elements.
