Original language description
The paper deals with the predictive control of a supercharged IC engine, based on a real-time predictive model of the engine. This allows for using signals in the feedback loop are not actually measured, just estimated by the predictive model. New approach to the control law computation is proposed, involving a direct algebraic link between the inputs and outputs of the controlled plant. The control is tested using both the MIL and HIL approach.
