SIMULATION STUDY OF MECHATRONIC SYSTEMS INFLUENCE IN VEHICLE FLOW CONTROL
Original language description
The study is focused on the design and comparison of different vehicle cruise control systems (PID, MPC) in vehicle flow simulation according to legally required minimum safe distance and vehicle longitudinal dynamic model. The models created in Matlab and Simulink are integrated into SUMO using C++ code generated by Matlab/Simulink Coder. SUMO capabilities are enhanced with new car-following models (with longitudinal dynamic and adaptive cruise control included).
