MECHATRONIC SYSTEMS IN VEHICLE FLOW CONTROL - EXTENDING MPC-ACC CAPABILITIES
Original language description
The study is focused on extending capabilities of simple predictive vehicle cruise control system (MPC-ACC) used for controlling speed of a vehicle in the vehicle flow. Capabilities of MPC-ACC system are extended by adding the dynamic models of vehicle, tire and power steering and utilization of vehicular communication (V2X). New cooperative cruise control (MPC-CACC) shall be capable to avoid and handle dangerous situations and to control and plan the vehicle movement more effectively.
