    Nickel based composite coatings as alternative to hard chromium coatings

  • Original language description

    This paper deals creating electrodeposited nickel-based composite coatings with use of several dispersion materials with micro and nano meters dimensions as alternative to hard chromium coatings. Presence of dispersion in composite coatings was proved by SEM microscopy and spectrometry. In addiction these coatings are tested and compared in tribological properties to electrodeposited hard chromium coating. Our coatings are created and tested with the same technological parameters so they can be compared between each ones. The results of analysis are presented and compared in this paper.
