Original language description
This software presents a tool for designing new mechanisms of internal combustion engines based on the DASY knowledge database. Software contains modules for kinematics and dynamics of both valve and crank train mechanism considering frictional losses and torsional vibrations. The software includes mechanical and hydraulic parts of a valve train connected to a crank train. Part of the software is a module for valve lift synthesis which contains a valve lift curve designed especially for cylinder deactivation via switchable hydraulic lash adjuster.
