Using hydrogen as working gas in stirling engine
Original language description
The paper presents calibration of detailed 1-D simulation model of real Stirling engine by experiments. Model is created in commercial simulation software code GT Power. For calibration is used fast changing pressures in a cold and hot cylinder above and under the piston at various load conditions. Stirling engine works as a stationary electric power and heat generator from a renewable energy source. Maximum temperature of heat supply is in the range of 550-650°C. Helium is used like working medium. Model will used for further design optimizations.
