Original language description
A substitution of Diesel with natural (NG) gas seems to be promising means for reduction of CO2 as well as particulate matter (PM) emissions from combustion engines. This study presents an introduction of the research single cylinder Diesel engine setup modified to a dual fuel operation with NG. The initial phase of experiments was focused on survey of engine performance and main emission parameters with variable NG/Diesel ratios for various loads under naturally aspirated conditions.
