BONDED STRUCTURE - EXPERIMENTAL DETERMINATION OF STIFFNESS AND STRENGTH AND NUMERICAL SIMULATIONS
Original language description
This paper deals with experimental testing of the electric bus bonded roof segment and it's numerical simulation. The test segment is formed by a sandwich roof (foam core, metal coatings), which is connected to the side profiles of the skeleton. The test is designed to simulate the bending loading of the roof panel during the vehicle rollover. Based on the results of the experiment numerical model is verified and ready for use in the global model of the electric bus.
