  • Original language description

    This contribution deals with possibilities of additive manufacturing for the part used in power industry. It is focused to 3D printing as a method for rapid development of low-cost and low-parameters turboexpanders for decentralized micro-power systems. Due to a specific condition, such as presumed fluid type, temperature, pressure, rotor speed etc., metal (stainless steel 316L) as a material for producing turboexpander bodies and related technology DMLS were chosen as well as plastic/resin 3D printing methods for lower working parameters in comparison. To provide suitable parts, it is necessary to solve specific problems such as geometry conforming to 3D print technology (blade angles, relative pitch), appropriate printing position, printing parameters etc.
