Final report summarizes project results. The advanced SW compensation method has been successfully tested and a 10x higher machine accuracy compared to uncompensated state has been proved on a number of machines with different structures. Minimization of machine tools thermal errors using advanced SW compensation based on transfer functions (TF). Much better accuracy and reliability (robustness) of the TF model compared to standard (static) model obtained by multiple linear regressions (MLR). Improvement of more then 80% compared to standard compensation.
