Original language description
This study is mainly focused on analyzation of an airplane console which is made to tight up a keel beam to floor and the fuselage. Reason why we are replacing titanium console with composite is due to weight reduction. Two examples of composite brackets were analyzed - one with exact same dimensions as titanium version and the other one with differently shaped profile. Profiles are made from carbon reinforced polyphenylene sulfide resin (C/PPS).
