    The paper deals with the possibility of using the UV-VIS spectroscopy method for collecting latent traces. There is described the principle of luminescence and the principle of Recognoil devices for the use of UV-VIS method for forensic practice. The experimental part is devoted to testing suitable material for shielding the Recognoil device for active search and provision of dactyloscopic traces on the scene. Furthermore, the design and modeling of suitable conversion lenses for practical use on equipment and their testing to verify function.
