Original language description
This paper focus on mathematical modelling of voice creation process, where the attention is paid to the glottis closure. The problem is mathematically described as a problem of fluid-structure interaction with appearance of the (periodical) contact problem of the vocal folds, where a simplified three mass model problem is considered. The mathematical model is numericalyl approximated using the residual based stabilization of the finite element method. The model is based on a suitable modification of the inlet boundary condition, the arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian method and two strategies are suggested for treatment of the gap closure. Numerical tests are presented.
