Original language description
Interpolating B-spline curve is a piecewise polynomial curve passing through a set of given definition points. In our case, the interpolation curve of the fifth degree is constructed to respect the unit normal vector at each definition point. Definition points and normal vectors are obtained by means of real measurement on a coordinate measuring machine.
